No plans for single-player Tomb Raider DLC
Crystal Dynamics confirms all upcoming expansions for action-adventure game will be multiplayer-focused.
Gamers hoping for single-player Tomb Raider expansions are out of luck. Global brand director Karl Stewart explained on Reddit (via Videogamer) that all upcoming content for the action-adventure game will be multiplayer-focused.
"There are currently no plans in place for any single-player expansions," Stewart said. "All of our DLC is based around the multiplayer experience for now."
Tomb Raider this week added the $5 Caves and Cliffs pack. Included with the Xbox 360-exclusive expansion are three multiplayer maps: Scavenger Caverns, Cliff Shantytown, and Burning Village.
Released March 5, Tomb Raider won a positive critical reception and logged 1 million players in 48 hours. For more, check out GameSpot's review.
