No Virtual On For America?
Sega of America says that Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram may not find its way to the US. Do you think it should?
GameSpot News has learned that Sega of America is not currently planning to bring Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram to the US. According to a company spokesperson, Sega is worried about flooding its Dreamcast market with too many arcade titles. Games like Virtual On were designed with quick play in mind (pop in a quarter and you're playing for a few rounds). Sega is afraid people will purchase the game hoping to find hours of gameplay similar to the length of play found in typical console titles of today and come away disappointed.
What do you think? We've placed a poll on the videogames.com Dreamcast page, where you can vote on whether you'd be interested in the title if Sega released it in the US. The results will go to Sega, so make sure to let your vote count. For the videogames.com Dreamcast page, click on the link to the right.
