NYKO's New Wireless Controllers

NYKO Technologies today announced the RF MAX 900, a wireless accessory that delivers the RF wireless gaming experience to owners of the Sony PlayStation, Nintendo 64, SNES, and Sega Dreamcast.

Using a 900MHz wireless RF (radio frequency) technology, NYKO's RF MAX 900 accessory eliminates line-of-sight interference common with infrared (IR) type wireless devices. This means that objects placed between the controller and TV won't interrupt the action. Another benefit of the RF technology is that it can transmit signals up to 30-feet away, allowing gamers more flexibility in where they seat themselves for their gaming experiences.

The RF MAX 900 will release later this spring nationwide for about US$40.
