The superb Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma is on sale for only $113 at Amazon, down from $150. This deal only applies to the white model; the black edition is still full price. In case you haven't heard of it or gone hands-on with this controller, the Wolverine V2 Chroma is a premium gamepad that combines top-class components and features. Plus, it has a stylish look, which isn't surprising considering it's a Razer product. The Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma is one of the best Xbox controllers around, with its only main downside being its wired-only connection support.

On the surface, you've got Razer's mecha-tactile action buttons and D-pad, which have a shorter actuation distance for slightly quicker inputs, two multi-function buttons next to the triggers, and four remappable back buttons that can be customized in the Xbox app for the controller. Even better, there are interchangeable thumbstick caps in the form of short and extended grips.

For the triggers, you're looking at a more sensitive arrangement for rapid-fire presses, as well as two levels of slide-lock to reduce their travel distance. As for comfort, the Wolverine V2 Chroma largely follows the same design philosophy as the official Xbox wireless controller, but with a few Razer touches that look and feel great. As a reminder, you can use this controller on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

All of this combines to create a controller that's great for competition, one that can give you an edge in online and local play. Plus, you can make that RGB piping shine through the Razer app so that you can add a subtle layer of personalization to your device.

If you like the design of the Wolverine V2 Chroma but don't want to spend that much, the standard Wolverine V2 is on sale for $67 at Amazon (in both white and black). The main differences: no RGB lighting and it only has two multi-function buttons next to the triggers. You don't get the four back paddles with the non-Chroma edition.
