In the lead up to the release of Overwatch, Blizzard is delving into the backstory of the various heroes. On April 21, it released a short digital comic focusing on McCree, the vigilante cowboy. It has followed this up with a 10-page comic starring Reinhardt called "Dragon Slayer." Read it here.

The comic was written by Blizzard's Matt Burns, with art from Nesskain, who has a DeviantArt page full of gorgeous artwork here. It follows Reinhardt as he attempts to rid a village haunted by dragons. You get to see some of his unique abilities and eventually, don his armour.

Blizzard has promised it will release more comic shorts for other Overwatch characters, including Roadhog and Junkrat. There will also be a at least one six-issue series in addition to a graphic novel called Overwatch: First Strike that's coming later in 2016.

Overwatch officially launches for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on May 24. An open beta is set to kick off in early May. You can learn more about the game in GameSpot's three-part series.
