Paragon Adds New Mana-Draining Hero and Funny Emotes

Epic Games has revealed details for Paragon's latest update, which brings a new hero into the fray and introduces emotes. The first five emotes are now for sale, and you can check them all out in a new video released by developer Epic Games.

The emotes include Gideon using his rift device as a hula hoop, Kallari threatening his opponent with a throat-cutting gesture, and Greystone inviting his enemy to fight. You can see them all in the video below.

Paragon's newest hero, Lt. Belica, is also available to purchase now. She's a Burst Caster who's best at zoning enemies and controlling mana. Her first ability, Void Bomb, deals burst damage to an area and restores mana for every enemy it hits. Seimic Assault is another one of her abilities, and it lets her attack in a line, dealing damage and knocking enemies into the air. Void Drone gives her the advantage in a large area, draining mana from enemies and taking damage when they use their abilities. Lastly, her Ultimate lets her use an enemy's low mana against them by firing a nuke that does more damage the less mana they have.

Epic added that there are a number of other changes in the patch that should help bring match length down.

"Black Buff and Orb Prime respawn at quicker intervals and Orb Prime has dropped in health," it said. "Additional changes have been made to minion interaction with structures and siege minion spawn rate."
