PGA European Tour Announced

Infogrames announced on Monday that it will publish PGA European Tour for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64. Slated for release in February of 2000, PGA European Tour is the only golf title to include the official European Professional Golfer's Association License.

"PGA European Tour is so true-to-life, players will actually feel like they have been transported to one of Europe's finest greens," said Steve Allison, director of marketing for sports and racing at Infogrames North America. "Its sophisticated and authentic style will appeal to the dedicated golf audience, as well as newcomers to the game."

Several members of the team that developed the Actua Golf series for Gremlin Interactive are developing PGA European Tour in-house at Infogrames.
