Pirates of the Caribbean ships for GBA
TDK Mediactive ships its Disney movie-inspired action game for the GBA to stores across North America.
TDK Mediactive has today announced that Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl for the Game Boy Advance has shipped to stores in North America. Inspired by the movie of the same name and developed by Pocket Studios, the game sees players assuming the role of a charming rogue pirate named Jack Sparrow and attempting to accrue pirate booty in 20 different swashbuckling missions.
"We're thrilled to be part of this stellar franchise," said Vincent Bitetti, chief executive officer for TDK Mediactive. "Pirates of the Caribbean has been a Disney theme park favorite for years. Now, with the property's highly anticipated big-screen debut, we are proud to release a game of quality and excitement equal to its rich franchise history."
