Garden Warfare 2 aims to be the "funniest, craziest, most over-the-top shooter yet." The game adds new modes not found in the original such as the 24-player Herbal Assault and the four-player Graveyard Ops co-op mode. It features 12 new maps "bursting with life and humor," as well as six new character classes.

On top of that, Garden Warfare 2 adds new mode called Backyard Battleground. This mode is a hub world for the game that allows you to connect with friends and see your achievements and collectibles. In addition, it makes it easier to jump into games together.

In other Garden Warfare news, EA has announced plans for an "intra-active" Garden Warfare attraction at a North Carolina theme park. For more on the franchise, check out GameSpot's review of the original Garden Warfare.
