Platinum's Xbox One Exclusive Scalebound Will Shock You, Says Microsoft Dev

This game literally save the Xbox brand and its first party games. Especially if its a big budget RPG game like Witcher 3 or Skyrim. But I kinda question this since the game was not shown at E3, but who knows.

Looks good, if it lost the headphones and gave the guy a more fantasy-style outfit. It's out of place in a game like this, but otherwise, pretty cool.

I love that everyone is trashing the game already. Every time Microsoft gets an exclusive, we get to see people that can't afford both consoles convince themselves that all the games they can't play aren't good anyway.

I bet Microsoft basically told Platinum what to make.

This looks so cheesy it's not funny. Platinum, what have you done? Also, they had to add the Beast by Dre because they know that's what western audiences love. Such stereotypical trash.

I have no idea why or how they settled on such a bland looking protagonist but knowing Platinum I'm sure this game will be fun and I can't wait to see some gameplay. It just kills me that this, Bloodborne and Bayonetta 2 are all on different consoles.

This game looks like a complete ripoff of Devil May Cry. Too bad that game was only cool in time period it was made, the early 2000s.

It's gonna fail, it's gonna be like call of duty or flop. Nothing good can come of this, as majority of humankind are sheep. People tend to easily hate me and etc. because I'm not like them.

At least I like stuff that are hidden epic gems, they are hidden you know why, because most people didn't like it or it was hard to advertise while having a broad appeal in mind, and a gem well you know it's better than your avarage joe, and M$ is just doing that, finding a way how to please to the largest amounts of avarage joes, you can never please everyone, the larger the appeal the simpler the appealer.If you want to make something epic you have to appeal to our tastes, the more tastes you nail, the better it will become, but the audience who is being appealed will get smaller. So anyways that's why I think this will not be as good as they say it to be.

If it's gonna have Dragon's Dogma combat system(including how you interact with monster, like grabbing from behind and climbing on them like in Shadow of the Colossus for the latter) or better, then it might be something awesome, if they make a decent enough world, but that's prolly not gonna happen, as the combat is way too complex and the weight system and etc. to appeal to most of the avarage joe xone users. (forgot x+bone a hate word in gspot).

So Skyrim with less detail and more action oriented likely. Could be interesting, but I seriously doubt it'll hit "Game of the All-Time" status (whatever that means). Witcher 3 will bury this if they release at the same time.

This looks really cool. If Microsoft keep making more games like this then I will buy their console. The more exclusive games they make, the bigger the chance I will buy it cos I use my PS4 for all 3rd party games and Sony exclusive but want the Xbone for the Xbox exclusives just like I have a Wii U for the Nintendo ones.

Hmmm we'll see. MGR was awesome and Bayonetta was awesome but they should be lynched for Legend of Korra. I have a feeling it'll just be another beat em'up with dragons....

Has this ever improved a game? I don't think so, what has Kamiya once said? Yes it was "There's only one of you in the world, you gotta be you". Listening to focus groups will only water down your product and make it bland, carefully packaged and fake, not 90 rating material.

I'm excited about this one. Haven't heard a lot of it but its developer got me with metal gear revengeance: stylish action packed game with awesome graphics and soundtrack. Also, Baynetta 2 was considered one of 2014 best games, so these guys know how to do their job. Now, if you add to the mixture a great story, which I hope this game has, then scalebound will surely be great.

While I don't own an XBone, I have complete faith in Platinum Games - I've found all of the titles they've made (that I've played - BAYONETTA 1 & 2, VANQUISH, ANARCHY REIGNS, etc.) to be nothing short of top-notch production quality and immense fun as well as a bit of a challenge. Platinum Games are one of, if not THE best, game developers out there, IMHO. Accordingly, I expect SCALEBOUND to be as incredible as their other games.
