PlayStation 3's shooter Dust 514 redesigned for the PC as Project Legion
CCP also teased a future that ties its three games together.
CCP Games announced during its Fanfest event that it is working on a free-to-play PC shooter set in the EVE Online Universe that takes after the PlayStation 3’s Dust 514.
Dust 514 is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter that even CCP admits wasn’t as great as it could be (we weren’t fans of it either). CCP said that Project Legion is very early in development, and that it’s not even certain it will come out, but the idea is to re-imagine Dust 514 for the PC with more of a sandbox experience.
"At the end of the day we want to take the things we’ve learned from Dust, and yes it’s in the same IP, same place and all the rest of it, but we want to do some fundamentally different things with it that we feel we missed out on and that we didn’t do right," VP of Product Development at CCP Sean Decker told Polygon.
CCP has clarified that it’s still still working on new content for Dust 514, and that if Project Legion does ever come out, Dust 514 players will be able to migrate their relevant data to the new PC game.

Finally, CCP today revealed a trailer for something called The Prophecy, which implies that the company’s three games: EVE: Online, EVE: Valkyrie, and Dust 514 will converge in some fashion. The CGI trailer, which includes elements from all three games (large space battles, dogfighting, and infantry combat) simply ends with the words: “One universe // One war.”
