Pokemon Encourages Reading

Sybex announced on Monday that more than 500,000 Pokemon fans have turned to the novelizations based on the Pokemon and Pokemon Snap video games. Written by Jason R. Rich, the Pokemon novels, Pokemon - Pathways to Adventure and Pokemon Snap - Pathways to Adventure, retail for US$9.95.

"These novels were written for Pokemon fans of all ages," said Jason R. Rich. "While kids love playing video games, they also want to learn everything there is to know about the characters and story. As a result, young people want to read these exciting novels."
