Pokemon Go - Unova Stone, Mewtwo Raids, And Gen 5 Pokemon Now Live
Pokemon originally from the Unova region are now available in PoGo.
Pokemon Go's third and final wave of Ultra Bonuses has finally arrived. Not only does it give players around the world another chance to encounter the Legendary Mewtwo in Raid Battles, it also includes the first appearance of Gen 5 Pokemon, and developer Niantic has shared more details on which monsters players can now find in the game.
Unova Pokemon
As the studio previously teased, the three starters from Pokemon Black and White--Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott--will all appear in the wild, as will a few other Gen 5 Pokemon like Patrat, Lillipup, Purrloin, Pidove, and Blitzle. Other Unova-native monsters, such as Drilbur, Foongus, Litwick, and Ferroseed, will also hatch from certain types of eggs, while the gear Pokemon Klink will appear in Raid Battles.

Pokemon Go News & Announcements
Unova Stone
To coincide with the Gen 5 Pokemon, Niantic is introducing a new evolutionary item to Go called the Unova Stone. Much like the Sinnoh Stone, this can be used to evolve certain Gen 5 Pokemon, such as Lampent. Niantic says you'll be able to obtain Unova Stones through Research Breakthroughs. You can read more about the incoming Gen 5 Pokemon on the official Pokemon Go website.
Mewtwo Raids
As previously mentioned, the Legendary Mewtwo has also returned as part of the third wave of Ultra Bonuses. Players will have another chance to encounter the Legendary Psychic Pokemon in five-star Raids until September 23. This time, it will know the Psychic-type attack Psystrike, which was originally introduced to the series in Pokemon Black and White. That's not all; if you're lucky, you may also encounter a Shiny Mewtwo.
