Pokemon Go Holding Two Community Days In November 2020
Electabuzz and Magmar will be the stars of the game's two November Community Days, which are set for November 15 and 21.
Pokemon Go developer Niantic has shared details on the game's next Community Day events. While the studio typically only holds one Community Day each month, there will be two separate events in November 2020, and they'll star the Gen 1 Pokemon Electabuzz and Magmar, respectively.
The first Community Day takes place this Sunday, November 15, and will feature Electabuzz. Throughout the event, the Electric-type Pokemon will appear in the wild more often than normal, and you'll have a chance to encounter a Shiny version. On top of that, any Electabuzz that you manage to evolve into Electivire up to two hours after the Community Day ends will learn the Fire-type attack Flamethrower.

In addition to increased Electabuzz spawns, Niantic will offer an exclusive Special Research story revolving around the Electric Pokemon during the November 15 Community Day. As usual, this story will require a virtual ticket, which cost $1 USD. Any Incense you use during the Community Day will also last for three hours, and eggs will hatch at a quarter of their typical distance.
The second Community Day will take place the following Saturday, November 21. Throughout this event, Magmar will appear in the wild more often than usual, and you'll similarly have a chance to come across a Shiny version. Additionally, any Magmar that you're able to evolve into Magmortar up to two hours after the Community Day ends will learn the Electric-type attack Thunderbolt.
Like the Electabuzz Community Day, Niantic will offer an exclusive Special Research story revolving around Magmar during the November 21 event. Tickets for this will likewise cost $1 USD. The same bonuses will also be available throughout the event. Any Incense that you use will remain active for three hours, and eggs will hatch at a quarter of the distance they normally take.
Both Community Days will run for six hours, from 11 AM to 5 PM local time. You can read more details about the events on the official Pokemon Go website.
That's not all that Niantic has planned for Pokemon Go this month. The studio has outlined a few other November events for the game, including the return of Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, as well as exclusive GrubHub and Verizon events.
