Pokemon Go: November 2018 Community Day Details Announced

The next Community Day event is scheduled for November 10.

Comments

October's Pokemon Go Community Day has come and gone, but Niantic isn't wasting any time getting fans ready for next month's event. The developer has announced that November's Community Day is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 10, and this time, players will encounter increased spawns of Cyndaquil, one of the three starting Pokemon from Gold and Silver.

As the featured Pokemon for November's Community Day, Cyndaquil will appear much more frequently in the wild than it typically does. Judging by previous Community Days, you'll also presumably have a chance of finding Shiny Cyndaquil during the event, which would mark the first time its Shiny variant has appeared in Pokemon Go.

Now Playing: Pokemon Go - Sinnoh Region Gen 4 Launch Trailer

You'll want to catch as many Cyndaquil as you can during the Community Day, as you'll have an opportunity to get one with a special move that it cannot normally learn in Pokemon Go. Niantic typically doesn't reveal what this attack will be until just prior to the Community Day, but nearly each previous one has involved evolving the featured Pokemon into its final form before the event ended, so that will likely be the case this time as well.

As usual, players will also be able to take advantage of a couple of bonuses that Niantic will be offering during the Community Day. This time, you'll receive twice the normal amount of XP and Stardust for capturing Pokemon during the event. You can read more details on the official Pokemon Go website.

A lot has been happening in Pokemon Go as of late. Niantic recently introduced the first wave of Gen 4 Pokemon to the game. Players can now find the Sinnoh starters Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, along with a handful of other Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl. However, there are also a couple of Gen 4 Pokemon that are currently only available in certain regions; you can read where to find them here.
