According to the Hollywood Reporter, calls to Warner Bros. for a chance to win free tickets to the Pokemon movie premiere killed the company's phone system today. TV station KTLA announced the contest this morning and Warner Bros. logged more than 70,000 calls per minute, forcing the studio to shut down its voice-mail system.

The Pokemon movie debuts this Saturday at Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The movie will hit nationwide release on Wednesday, November 10.
