Port Royale goes gold

Tri Synergy has announced that the US version of Port Royale has gone gold. The strategy game challenges players to build a Caribbean empire as a pirate, trader, or privateer siding with one of four nations--England, France, Spain, or Holland. There are more than 60 towns plotted out on the game's detailed maps, and the real-time 3D battles will feature clashes between 20 different types of ships.
