ngl, if I was a kid today I'd be disappointed by this. The 90s and early 00s toys looked so much better

That toy does NOT look like it transforms/morphs as 5 smaller Zords.

There had better be some kind of "Deluxe" Movie Megazord that morphs. And it had better be compatible with next years's (this year's??) Movie Dragonzord.

And yeah the comparison below to G.I. Joe and Transformers is pretty apt. Back then when they first came I was still pretty young, but the seriousish tone put me off even back then. Like they aim to make kid movies to adults or something

I was never a fan of the whole Power Rangers crap to begin with but gods this looks terrible......

looks like a Bayformers reject....or a guy in a crappy suit lmao and it's supposed to be a toy??? how does that work??

I think by trying to grow these things up....make em more adult, Transformers, GI Joe, now this we lose whatever made the shows cool to begin with.....with GI Joe [something I am a fan of] they tried to make it more realistic and it never felt real, some stuff they did in the movies were cool but mostly it sucked cus it took itse;f too seriously and made lame jokes....Transformers [something else I'm a fan of] took liberties and in some ways did well but in so many ways the movies suck ass.....action is off the charts but everything else is meh, so it just becomes a spectacle, at least stuff like Expendables has something going for it's spectacle, the action stars get to do what they do best and it's fun as F seeing so many stars who were never in movies together finally team up.......Stallone and Schwarzenegger for example....epic stuff.....

I think nowadays Power Rangers is too niche a market and that if you didn't grow up specifically during the first show's run whatever this reboot is won't appeal to you.....

The old megazord was a Voltron wannabe. The new one is a Michael Bay Transformer. Honestly not sure whether that's a step up or down.

I have to disagree with all of you. I think it looks dope A.F. It's not supposed to be a copy. It's someone else's vision on it now. The original one kind of looked retarded anyways. I mean come on... look at both of the picures. Trust me. Our ten year old selves would much rather have had something that looks like the new one than the old pile of junk. Quit being such fanboys and remember that things change. I bet this movie will be bad. But not bad like Rebecca Black... i'm talking Michael Jackson bad. Wait till you see it to judge it.
