Preacher stars Dominic Cooper (Need for Speed, Mamma Mia) as a preacher named Jesse Custer from Texas who isn't exactly the model of faith. The show also stars Custer's vampire friend Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) and girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga). The comic book series on which it is based was created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.

As Deadline reminds us, Rogen and Goldberg are leaving Sony TV--the producers of Preacher--for a new deal at Lionsgate.

Preacher Season 3 aired in 2018. The show's showrunner is Sam Catlin, who wrote and produced episodes of AMC's Breaking Bad.
