Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy bundling up March 22

Silent Hill 2 and 3 damn it.

Yes this trilogy has been released in the U.S for a few months but not the physical copy just the digital copy so maybe were getting the physical copy.

@warhawk-geeby i never got to play any of the splinter cell games so if you ask me if it's ok for companies to release old games, then my answer would be yes..

Ummmm, I got this game in December.

Considering you can get the xbox games that look almost as good, and the pc games that look BETTER, for about 20$ for either 3 games? Guess if you have only a non-bc ps3. Oh well. Companys got to make easy money somehow.

@ Rocker6 Yeah, that's probably because unlike Sony, Microsoft has working backward compatibility in their current console.

For all you Xbox360 users,you will probably never get these HD collections,because M$ isnt interested in remastering older games.I read it on a lot of sites.

Right.. I know I'm going to get some abuse for this. But what is with all the re-makes coming out? I love the old games yeah, but we have 'next-gen' consoles for a reason. Half of the games I've gone back to just end up ruining my beautiful memories.. GTA Vice City the perfect example. It's one of my favourite games ever however the last time I played it I nearly cried at how bad it was in comparison to newer games. Technology moves on, memories don't. I'm looking forward to the SplinterCell collection - but since then everything seems to be coming back with HD/3D remakes..

I've had the POP collection for a while now, is it not released yet in the US? @RSM-HQ Metal gear solid collection would be awesome

great news. some really good classics there but seriously the collection i want the most for ps3 is the Jak and Dexter one. please let it happen one day...

-Off subject- I hope Konami & Capcom start some HD collections on PS3. Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, & Devil May Cry collections would be sweet :)

@MichaeltheCM probably because they can fit only in a Blu-Ray disc. Things like this make me wish I had a PS3... Oh well.

I guessing it was UK (europe) release of POP, but bought the HD trilogy for the PS3 on Disc a while ago.

I thought all these games came out on the PS2 many years ago. I could care less about the 3D, but the HD remastering would be nice, especially for people who don't own any of these games. When is this trilogy pack coming out for the XBox 360 and PC (Steam)?

Oh my god, now I'm REALLY jealous. The Two Thrones was my favorite original Xbox game.

I loved the first 3 POPs. However, the last 2 games massacred every beautiful memory I had playing the original three.

i guess this is to make up for SC:Conviction being x360 exclusive, well unless the graphics have been taken up a notch or two then am not too envious at ps3, but it sount lik a great collection to have more so for newbie gamers who never played the originals sweet

Pop trilogy was great. The best was the secret/alternate ending in Warrior Within. Kaileena was on fire, baby!

@cjburnfist GTA Trilogy HD HELL YEAH! I want now! I have the PS2 games individually AND the trilogy box set and I would gladly get them again if they were remade in HD for the PS3. Sometimes it doesn't look good porting last gens games to this gen, but these are classics, they deserve to be re-released. Heck, Super Mario Allstars was one of my favorite SNES games.

This is what I was expecting when I won that TOTS trivia last year. But Sands of Time is a fine prize anyway :)

I'll stick with the originals.

Dammit. 80 more dollars I have to spend this year on games.......

I hope HD means not just upping the resolution, but maybe adding more polygons and hi res textures... Or even better, a complete redo with todays graphics capabilities using the exact same game layout.

Great news...I figured it would happen eventually, but rather than wait I bought a European disc already since the PS3 has no region lock. It was new and even with shipping it was a bit cheaper then it will be here...

good thing I waited, plus it cost more on PSN, will buy both.

@zelosphia_8: I think they will. It is already available on Disc in EU. Just search for Prince of Persia Trilogy on ebay.co.uk

I knew if I waited long enough they would come in disc format. :) If its a "Collections" game, having it as a disc makes it a collectable, which is kinda the idea.
