This isn't the first time the Sounders have worn special jerseys themed around a Microsoft game, as the side wore Halo 5: Guardians jerseys last year. Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen is one of the club's owners.
"For the second-straight year, we've worked closely with Xbox to alter the primary partner mark on the front of our jerseys and create a fun, engaging initiative," Sounders FC Owner Adrian Hanauer said in a statement. "We always enjoy collaborating with Xbox to find the best ways to integrate our brands together, and we're excited to have another limited edition jersey to commemorate this campaign for fans of Sounders FC and Gears of War."
The Sounders will wear these jerseys again during its regular season finale on October 23. Microsoft is going big for this game, as it will let fans play Gears of War 4 at CenturyLink field, while there will be other "matchday activations" as well. Additionally, fans who buy a Pacific Blue jersey from the stadium's pro shop on October 23 can have the Gears of War 4 mark added to it.
This is only available at the stadium's pro shop and only for the game on October 23. More details about the gameday festivities will be announced later.

Gears of War 4 is scheduled to come out on October 11 for Xbox One and PC. It's an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so you can buy it digitally and copy of the game for Windows 10 PC free or vice versa. If you pay $100 for the Ultimate Edition, you can start playing four days early, beginning October 7.
In other Gears of War 4 news, Microsoft has released the game's launch trailer and celebrated its "gold" status with cake, champagne, and a replica Lancer. Additionally, the game will be available to pre-load well ahead of its launch, according to developer The Coalition.
