Project Entropia goes gold
MindArk announces that its futuristic online role-playing game is now complete.
MindArk has announced that Project Entropia has gone gold with its version 4.2 update. The update includes some new features and enhancements, including the introduction of player vs. player combat, personal storage facilities for players, and an enhanced exchange system that allows players to buy, sell, and trade items. MindArk is also rewarding players who encounter and report exploitable bugs with in-game currency.
Project Entropia is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a futuristic environment where players battle robots and mutants. The game's most distinguishing feature is that it costs no money to download the software, and the publisher charges no monthly fees to play the game. Instead, players exchange real money for in-game currency in order to buy items. The in-game money can also be exchanged back into real money, meaning that players can potentially make a profit playing the game.
