PS4 and Xbox One's Don't Starve Getting DLC Where You Explore the Sea
Shipwrecked will bring boats, islands, and more to Don't Starve on consoles.
Don't Starve fans on consoles have something to look forward to as the Shipwrecked expansion will arrive on the PS4 and Xbox One this spring. It adds boats, traversable oceans, tropical islands, and more to the survival game.
Capybara Games lead writer and designer Dan Vader posted about the DLC coming to PS4 on the PlayStation Blog. It was later confirmed on Twitter that it would also make its way to Xbox One.

The game and its expansions are normally developed by Klei Entertainment, but Shipwrecked was created by Capybara. The new expansion adds new biomes, creatures, bosses, and weapons. It also makes it possible for players to leave the starting landmass via boat, as the ocean was previously used as an end to the map.
Don't Starve: Shipwrecked is available right now on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux users. The expansion costs $4.99.
The console versions were not given release dates. GameSpot will keep you up to date on when the Don't Starve expansion hits consoles.
The standalone multiplayer expansion, Don't Starve Together, is currently on Steam in Early Access. It's been revealed for PS4, but there's currently no word on the cooperative game heading to Xbox One.
