PS4 beating Xbox One in US poll

I want Xbox One more because I like its' controller more.

I know people planning to buy the PS4 that I thought would never ever buy a console. I know those people sure as hell aren't buying both. I would say ps4 will probably win this generation

what, are you kidding me? Ive has way more annoying young kids on xbox then ps3 any day, not only that I have a good job and theres no way in hell Im paying 500 dollars for the xbox1. To make that statement that people have no jobs because they are complaining about the price really speaks volumes on how stupid you are.

Irrefutable evidence that the PS4 will emerge as a victor

Both consoles have pretty weak launch lineups the PS4 is what I'm leaning toward right now with the new Infamous & The Order down the pipeline, Xbox One still has some convincing to do as far as I'm concerned with the game lineup, Titanfall will be released on 360 which I have so really only Halo 5 is the potential swing game for me and it'd have to be pretty sweet

I'm talking 10/10 on Gamespot freaking good and we all know how rare that is **coughs**The Last Of Us, Rayman Legends, Puppeteer"**coughs**

The world needs to be told what to think by the press. Its sad. The press make everything into a competition so they can get clicks and views, hell they even admitted it here in their "The Point" show. They want you to live your life choosing between A and B. IPhone vs. Droid. XBox vs. PS, and Republican vs. Democrat. The sad thing with this mentality is that Gamespot is forgetting those of us that plan on buying BOTH consoles because there are exclusives that we want on both machines so will simply invest. No it has to be a war. From now on, I am simply going to ignore blatant bait press like this video from getting any of my attention.

I think this has more to do with Microsoft's attitude than price, specs...etc. They have redeemed themselves a little by rolling back unpopular features, but the fact that they thought they could get away with it in the first place may have done irreparable damage, at least to some people.

I'm not a fanboy of either companies/consoles so I am glad that the fierce competition between the two is still there. It will push both to better themselves and their products, which will benefits all.

Nothing new here, pre-orders came out like a month ago, Microsoft making desperate attemtps to market at dumb & ignorant people, then they want to shut down Microsoft's gaming division, and then they let Phil Harrison make butthurt press statements. Typical algorithm for a product that is failing.

I know I may be generalizing but America is quite protective of its own companies, so if the PS4 ends up outselling the XBOne I think it'll really be saying something.

I just hope there aren't too many idiots out there who see the poll and go whoever is "in the lead" is who I am going with. Good thing my mind was made up a long time ago. I would actually go with both consoles if I had a LOT more time to play games.

@Anthonyccc @Biotasticmeat No, they are both neck and neck at about 78 million worldwide sales apiece.

There's currently a lack of aggregate demand in the economy because of poor fiscal policy in Washington (we should be investing, not cutting). And if we default on our debt, we will go into recession.

So given the context, it's unlikely that the consoles will sell very well this year. And as for Sony, they just have better exclusives by far.

Sony has alot running in my favor this time around. There is at least 5 to 7 games at launch I'm planning on buying so I'm set. The Xbox One . . . Sadly only has title that interests me and thats not enough to invest my time at the moment. No doubt I'll invest into the Xbox One eventually but for now I'll play the waiting for a price drop game with it a little bit longer. I wish both companies the best of luck.

Stop with these stupid polls. First of all, their probably fake. Second of all, the same results were said in the PS3 vs. Xbox 360 war but the Xbox came out on top in the long run. Third of all, 1300 people? Really? Last I checked their are way more gamers out their with a valid opinion than just 1300. Nice to see a game site that is supposed to have professional and Un-bias editors is turning over to Sony ponies. And people think Xbots are bad? I am getting an Xbox One and there is nothing these stupid polls can do to stop me. Whoever gets Kotor and Shenmue 3 exclusivity will automatically win in this upcoming generation.

Microsoft reversing pretty much all the crap policies they had for the Xbox One gave them a fighting chance this upcoming gen. I'm going with the PS4, but competition will be good for all of us gamers in the end.

I'm not very surprised, just judging from what I've seen over the past few months. To be completely honest, neither console has impressed me much though. I'll probably still buy a PS4, despite that....

Wait, what was that at the end!? There are as many PC gamers as XBox 360 gamers and both of those are ahead of PS3!?

For me personally (I repeat, personally - to avoid the potential flame-war) I'd get an XB1 first, then the PS4 next year.

The exlusives at launch on the XB1 just sound more interesting to me, and I'll probably end up getting both in the long run anyway (When inFamous Second Son launches on PS4, for example :P).

If I pre-ordered a PS4 now, all the games I'd get would be multi-platform ones. /shrug
