Upcoming PlayStation 4 third-person shooter The Order: 1886 has been delayed to 2015, developer Ready at Dawn has announced. Previously, the game was expected to launch sometime this fall.
"As we keep on pushing on this game, we really want to deliver on the experience that we promised, and because of that, the game is slated for release in early 2015," Ready at Dawn CEO and creative director Ru Weerasuriya told GameSpot.
The Order: 1886 is set in an alternate version of Victorian Era London where common folk go about their daily lives with no understanding that "a threat to their very existence" is brewing in the background. You play as a Galahad, a member of a group of Knights.
As you can see in the new gameplay footage above, Galahad can use "Blackwater," a mysterious substance that can heal him from otherwise deadly wounds. Players can also make use of what is called "Blacksight," a heightened gameplay state that allows you to better focus on executing precise attacks.
