PS4 game Infamous: Second Son requires 24GB install

24gb is nothing

500GB is nothing.. I have so much stuff recorded for PlayTV that I barely have much space left. I have to keep deleting *sigh*

this spring, it will come down to Titanfall vs Infamous SS (X1 vs PS4 battle)..., think Titanfall will produce a bigger hype.., but Titanfall will be solde more on the 360 and the grafix fetishisten will play it on the PC ..

so Titafall vs Infamous SS just might end with a tie.....

(but multiplayer shooters are something, that can sell like crazy..., look at CODs & Co...., wonder if Titanfall will have selling impact like L4D or COD.., prefer L4D over COD, but the sales prefer COD over L4D)

How is that news? Who cares how much space it takes up? 5GB or 50GB...I still think this game is shaping up to be something really special.

First thing I did before even turning on my PS4 was drop in a 1TB drive. Upgrading is too easy not to do if you're concerned. I know I'll be focusing on downloaded games (vs. Disc-based) so that I can play them on other Playstation 4 systems and share them with family easier. I already have a 750GB drive on my PS3, loaded with movies and games and nearing capacity so not immediately upgrading my PS4 seems like a no-brainer. Splitting the cost of games with my brother who lives 150 miles away and sharing them seems relatively logical by having multiple accounts on our PS4's.

Way to invent news. Who cares? 24GB is chicken scratch.

the problem wont be the 24 GB's

but the fact that the game is too easy ,even when playing on expert..

(german top reviewer are critsizing that...., hope sucker punch will have enough time for some balancing tweeks till it's released...., nothing worse than a "too easy" game, look at Fable 3...even if the tweeked the A.I. in I2ndson..)

Finally.. the Blu-Ray is capable of 50 gigs its about time they start utilizing the disc space!!!!!!

second son is pretty small in GB when killzone shadowfall is around 45gb

I'd bet my bottom dollar the first revamped PS4 will have at least twice as big a hard drive, I can wait.

I actually thought it would be more, considering that Knack is 37gb.

Guess that initial sub-400gb ps4 hard drive will be useless to any real gamer with mandatory installs this big. I like The One's upcoming ability to install games on a usb hard drive, which will let you actually ADD to the existing drive it comes with.

I'm already running low on hd space, I just don't understand why so much space is needed when my ps3 has multiple titles I can play without this issue and its ony 250 gig. Guess it will be something they fix in time.

This is much smaller than I thought it would be. Perhaps they're using a more efficient file compression system? I don't know. I'm banking on even larger games (potentially the Witcher 3) being around a 50GB install. But who knows, I was proven wrong here.

this is actually pretty good considering knack took 37 gigs.

nice little sneaky trick here by sony..... put a huge install so it ends up being a hassle to those who would want to rent it for 4 bucks and beat it.

Just remember the time when games came on one CD which were less than 700mb.

To be honest many will buy this game because we dont have much else to play..... I liked the first entry but the second was pretty average imo. I dont have huge hopes for this game to be honest i might grab thief instead and get this game later but i will for sure give this a run.

i completely ignored this one after the , for me, very disappointing 2nd output and the whole superpower idea started to go on my nerves ( the latest saints row totally overdid ) ... This is the first video i see of it and i am not sure if it is for the lack of games at the moment but i am going to order this now !
