PS4, PC horror game Daylight delayed to make it scarier
Zombie Studios pushes release of upcoming procedurally generated game to April 29.

Zombie Studios today announced that its PlayStation 4 and PC procedurally generated horror game Daylight has been delayed to April 29. It was previously expected to launch April 8. In a note to press (via Eurogamer), Zombie Studios said it needed to delay Daylight so it could make the game "scarier."
"First news you need to know about Daylight is that we had to delay the release date by several weeks. Here's the thing: the way Daylight is developed is completely different because of its procedural generation," the studio said. "In a lot of ways it really helped the team by streamlining the environment creation, but it's taken extra time to make sure all the scare cues are properly."
In addition to Daylight, Zombie Studios continues to support free-to-play game Blacklight: Retribution, which is available today on PC and PS4.
