If you're keen to get a PS5, check out how to order Sony's upcoming next-generation console. You may encounter some difficulties because of how quickly retailers are selling out, both in stores and online. It should get easier to find the console as more stock becomes available over the next few months. Getting it in time for the holidays could be difficult. However, certain retailers are planning to have more in stock for their Black Friday sales. Some of these are online, too, so you can stay safe and can avoid a long--and potentially cold--line.
You can also order extra controllers, the charging stand, a 3D-audio headset, and more. More consoles should be available from certain retailers, such as Walmart, on launch day. GameStop also received a second wave of preorders, both online and in-store, though these sold out almost immediately. Walmart's will be available without having to preorder, but that also means you'll need to be first in line come launch day. Otherwise, take a look at our PS5 specs explainer, which include details around its GPU, CPU, SSD, and more.
