PS5 Physical Editions Of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, And Resident Evil 7 Are Up For Preorder

A killer combo of gruesome visuals, modern gameplay, and smart tweaks to the source material, Resident Evil 2 was one of the best games of 2019 when it first launched on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It got a few next-gen upgrades for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, revamping the classic game even further for new platforms, and now PS5 players can own that version on-disc when it launches early next year. Like Resident Evil 2, the Resident Evil 3 remake updates the original game on a visual and technical level. It's much shorter than Resident Evil 2, but it keeps you on your toes constantly thanks to the lumbering Nemesis stalking you, a bioweapon that you'll have to be prepared for at any given time as you attempt to escape Raccoon City.

Originally released back in 2017, Resident Evil 7 made being changes to the formula. It's the first mainline game in the series to feature a first-person camera perspective and introduces an all-new protagonist, Ethan Winters, whose storyline continues into Resident Evil 8. Even though it's almost a decade old, the game still looks fantastic thanks to the RE Engine powering its grotesque graphics, and remains one of the scariest games in the series. The Gold Edition includes all previously released DLC expansion packs that add more missions to the game.
