PSO Version 2 North American release confirmed
Sega will temporarily shut down the Phantasy Star Online servers in anticipation of the game's worldwide release.
Sega of America has confirmed that Phantasy Star Online Version 2 will be released in North America. In order to prepare for the game's release in that territory and Japan the Phantasy Star Online worldwide servers will be temporary unavailable beginning the evening of April 24. The upgrade will be completed by Friday April 27, at which time the servers will become available for play once again. Further details regarding the North American release of Phantasy Star Online Version 2 will be released shortly.
