PSVR 2 Headset Bundle Drops To $350 For A Limited Time, Matching Best-Ever Price

The PlayStation VR 2 comes with Horizon Call of the Mountain and is compatible with PS5 and PC.

The PlayStation VR 2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle is on sale for only $350 during Days of Play 2025. The deal matches the virtual reality headset's all-time low price. The last time the PSVR 2 was on sale for $350 was during Black Friday 2024, and it proved to be one of the most popular Black Friday gaming hardware deals. The standalone PSVR 2 is also included in the promotion, but it's priced the same as the bundle and is only in stock at PlayStation Direct.

PlayStation introduced a permanent price drop on the PSVR 2 in February, so while you're technically only saving $50, the bundle was still selling for its original $600 price earlier this year.

If you need a PS5 console to pair with the discounted headset, PlayStation just released new PS5 Slim and PS5 Slim Digital Call of Duty Bundles for $450 and $400, respectively. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the first-ever discount on the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Shop Days of Play 2025 Sales

If you want to upgrade from the wired earbuds that come with the PSVR 2, the Pulse Explore Earbuds are on sale for $170 during Days of Play. Some PSVR 2 games support DualSense Controllers as an alternative control method. You can save $20 on the standard DualSense and $30 on the DualSense Edge during the sale.

As long as VR is the cost of an entire console it will go nowhere in mainstream gaming and I see no way of them making VR a price that consumers can justify after dropping 400-500 on a console.

Pc is different but it still will only ever be a niche market until we have VR without having to put essentially a box on your head.

People actually paid $600 for this soon to be shovelware accessory? No major publishers are developing games for it, why spend that much to release a game that only a tiny percentage of the PS5 install base can actually play?

@GalvatronType_R: I bought it at launch and it got me into Quest and PCVR so I can't complain.

Gonna need to be lower than that to get me to buy. Make it about $250 and you'll have my money.

It's becoming more appealing. I'd be tempted to get one if modders figured out how to get the eye tracking and foveated rendering working on PC
