Acclaim Sports and High Voltage Software have announced that NFL Quarterback Club 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 will be available at retailers nationwide on August 24. New game features include savable instant replays, a new TV-style presentation, a shoulder-charge move, and new pass/catch controls. The player models are also more diverse in this 2001 version of the franchise, as players now have different proportions and equipment based on their height, weight, and position.

This is the first game in the NFL Quarterback Club series to be developed by High Voltage Software. The company was founded in 1993, and it has developed such games as LEGO Racers, NBA Inside Drive 2000, All Star Baseball 2001, and Paperboy 64.
