Comments

Id Software has released a sizeable new update to Quake III: Arena. Version 1.25 adds global rankings support from MPlayer, improved bot AI, new team game scoring, and two teamplay awards (assist and defense). The update also installs countermeasures for known cheats in version 1.17, and disables the CD check at start up so that players can more conveniently jump into singleplayer bot matches.

You can download the 17.3 MB update from GameSpot or 3DFiles. To install the update, you'll first need to have version 1.17. The new patch is incompatible with servers running version 1.17.
