R-Type Final delayed in Japan

The latest in Irem's classic shooter series sees a small delay in Japan.

Irem software has revealed that its upcoming shooter R-Type Final will be delayed in Japan. Originally scheduled for a June 19 release, the game will now be released sometime in July. Explaining the delay, Irem said that a bug has been found during the final stages of development.
