Seeing as how it is set in Sin City, it makes sense that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas would find a way to squeeze more money out of gamers. Ubisoft today released the first downloadable content pack for the tactical shooter, which is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft points ($10).

The Player's Pack: Red Edition features two new game types--Assassination and Total Conquest--and five new multiplayer maps. Of the quintet of new battlegrounds, two are relit versions of older maps and three are brand new. For more details on Red Edition, read GameSpot's hands-on preview of the download.

The release of the DLC ends a run of frustration for some Vegas fans. When the pack was first detailed in February, Ubisoft said it would be released at the end of March.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas is rated M for Mature and retails for $59.99.
