Codemasters confirms that its recently announced racing sequel will be released for the PC as well as the Xbox in spring 2004.
Following Codemasters' recent announcement that it will release Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator for the Xbox in spring 2004, the company has today confirmed that the game is also in development for the PC. Both versions of the game will feature online play as well as a story-driven single-player career mode.
Described by Codemasters as its most ambitious motorsport project to date, Race Driver 2 will allow players to compete in more than 30 global championships spanning some 56 racing circuits. The game will feature around 35 of the world's most powerful racing and street cars, and all of them will be susceptible to realistic damage.
