Raider Retreat Now Available

Sierra has announced that an additional mission from the original Homeworld - designed and tested last year but not released with the full game - is now available on a special demo disc. Those who preorder Homeworld: Cataclysm, Sierra's upcoming follow-up to the 3D space strategy game, at Electronics Boutique stores or on EBWorld.com will receive a disc containing the first four Homeworld missions and the extra mission, Raider Retreat.

Raider Retreat picks up between the fourth and fifth Homeworld missions. The player is charged with a difficult assault upon the raiders as they flee back into the safety of their planetary defense system. The demo will also include a skirmish multiplayer mode in which players battle a computer opponent. Cataclysm is on schedule to ship in late August.
