Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro Bundle Announced, Pre-Orders Are Live
Lasso yourself a good deal on a PS4 with one of fall's biggest games.
Sony is teaming up with Rockstar to introduce a special Red Dead Redemption 2 bundle, alongside the game's launch on October 26. The bundle throws in a copy of the open-world cowboy simulator RDR2 for the standard asking price of a new PS4 Pro.
The bundle includes a 1TB PS4 Pro system in jet black, a DualShock 4, and the game for $400. That's the standard price for a new PS4 Pro without any games included, so you're essentially getting a free game. You can start pre-ordering the bundle today.
It's worth noting that the bundle includes the standard edition, without any extra goodies. If you'd like bonuses like extra outfits, horses, weapons, and missions, you may want to spring for the Special Edition ($80) or Ultimate Edition ($100). A Collector's Box also offers lots of Red Dead tchotchkes, without the game itself. You can read more about the various options with our pre-order guide.
We just had our first hands-on with Red Dead Redemption 2, which revealed a slew of new information about the upcoming game. From a first-person mode to more details about the conversation system, it's shaping up to be an ambitious open-world game. One thing we know precious little about, though, is the PS4-exclusive content Sony promised last year. With a bundle now announced, players will probably want to know which version to get to make an informed purchasing decision. For more details, check out our wrap-up of everything we know.
