Red Dead Redemption 2 Screenshots Show Off The Beautiful Open World
The PS4 and Xbox One game launches in October.
Just prior to the huge info dump we received on Red Dead Redemption 2--including hands-on gameplay impressions--Rockstar Games released a series of new screenshots. These show off some of the varied places you'll explore in the open world, as well as in the newly announced Red Dead Online.
The gorgeous-looking and highly detailed images come from the game's newly updated website that reveals some of the game's locations such as bayous, snowy mountains, busy cities, and more. Click through each image in the gallery below to see it in full size. If this isn't enough for you, Rockstar subsequently shared even more screenshots for you to peruse.

Red Dead Redemption 2 stars Arthur Morgan, who is a member of the Van der Linde gang in a story that sees the gang on the run across America. The game is set 12 years before the first Red Dead Redemption, which came out in 2010.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26. A PC version may be coming, according to a report. You can read more about the title in our roundup of everything we know so far about Red Dead Redemption 2.
