Red Dead Redemption zombies DLC creeps onto XBLA
Xbox Live Update: Rockstar Games' add-on for Western joined by Zen Studios' Pinball FX 2, demos for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.

Microsoft's virtual marketplace adds an eclectic mix of content this week, ranging from the second entry in Zen Studios' pinball series to the latest content pack for Red Dead Redemption.
For gamers clamoring for the zombie-fication of Red Dead Redemption, the Undead Nightmare pack (800 MS points, or $10) is now available to download today on Xbox Live. The single-player content expansion sees players again riding as John Marston and tasks them with finding a cure to the "highly infectious undead plague" that has ripped through the game's environments. Additionally, Undead Nightmare adds more animals to the game's biosphere, new "dynamic events," eight new zombie characters for use in multiplayer, and a new Undead Overrun cooperative mode.
On Wednesday, Zen Studios' Pinball FX 2 arrives as the final entry in Microsoft's Game Feast promotion. It follows Hydrophobia, Comic Jumper, and last week's Super Meat Boy.

Technically a free download, Pinball FX 2 is a platform that will work with the original game's tables, as well as a new 800 Microsoft point ($10) starter pack of four new tables. Those who already own the original Pinball FX will also be able to import that game's tables into the sequel, where they will receive new achievements and visual updates. Players will also be able to sample new tables before deciding whether or not to make a purchase.
On the demo front, Microsoft added two trials today, the first of which is for Criterion Games' Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. The sampler gives players a first look at and feel for the upcoming racer reboot. Specifically, players will be able to test out the title's new Autolog in-game technology and can earn 500 Cop Bounty and 500 Racer Bounty. The bounties can be migrated to the full game when it's released on November 16 by using the same EA account used in the demo.
The other demo dropping today is for Game Republic's Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom. The title focuses on cooperation between the two lead characters. One is a roguish youth who returns to his homeland after its population is decimated by spectral warriors controlled by a "dark force." Once said youth arrives in the kingdom, he teams up with Majin, a horned creature that looks like a cross between a minotaur and one of the Where the Wild Things Are creatures. As they explore the titular desolate realm, the pair learns about Majin's past--as the beastly companion evolves.
