Red Dead Redemption for PC includes the base game and the Undead Nightmare expansion, which challenges players to fight against zombies in the wild West. The package also comes with bonus content from Red Dead Redemption's Game of the Year Edition.

Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption tells the story of the cowboy John Marston as he sets out to seek revenge in 1911. Marston is tracking down members of the Van der Linde gang, and unfortunately for him, it's a long, difficult, and painful journey.

The game earned rave reviews upon launch in May 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360. A sequel, Red Dead Redemption II, came out in 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One, followed by a PC launch in 2019.

The PC edition of Red Dead Redemption is developed by port studio Double Eleven in collaboration with Rockstar. Fans will no doubt hope the PC launch goes smoother than the rollout of the GTA Trilogy in 2021, which was marred with technical problems.

There will be a number of PC-specific features, including native 4K visuals at up to 144hz, along with support for ultrawide and super ultrawide monitors. The game also includes support for HDR10 and Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling. Nvidia DLSS frame generation is also supported, while players can adjust draw distances and shadow quality settings, among other things.
