The developer said its main focus presently is finishing Alan Wake's American Nightmare and releasing it later this month, but the company is also looking to its future.

"It's too early to talk about what our next move is, but we've obviously put things into motion," he said. "We're crowd pleasers, we'll do what the audience wants, 'cause usually that's the good business move as well."

Myllyrinne also dropped a hint that the studio's next title will be released digitally, as opposed to on-disc at retail.

"I'm loving the digital [distribution] side and we'll see how that evolves, but just being able to give people quick access to bite-size chunks of gaming is maybe more fun than working for years and years," he said.

The original Alan Wake is due out on the PC on February 16, with American Nightmare following on February 22 on Xbox Live. For more on the latest game in the series, check out GameSpot's most recent preview of American Nightmare.
