Resident Evil 5 PS4, Xbox One Release Date Confirmed

Ahhh Resident Evil 5. It was all downhill from here.

Why is his arms so big and why is her chest not bigger for a Japanese game.

Capcom will re-release every game, ensuring complete global saturation.

this is the game that brought me to online gaming. thx re5, i love and hate you for it. i have spent an incredible amount of hours playing this, most of it in mercs and mercs reunion (not "united" btw). ah, i miss my studying days... except for the money :) solo score of 819k with Barry in Prison (booyah!). well i will definitely get this and see if i still got it. it also had the best inventory system of all resident evil games. small and challenging which made it simply perfect. The shooting was really good too, enemies react to almost all bullets, depending on where you hit them (which you can use to setup different melee attacks), i hate games where you pump bullets into enemies without them ever flinching.

damn i'm even more psyched now after writing and remembering all this.

I actually have fond memories of this game from when I first moved out of my parents house. It was about a week after I moved out when I purchased this game and invited my kid brother over to play. We stayed up till 6am playing but couldn't get passed one of the final stages. Spent nearly an hour at it before we gave up, only to realize later that just off to the left of where we were stuck at was a mounted turret we could have used to mow down the big guys with the gatling guns. If the game still has split-screen co-op, I may pick it up again just for the hell-of-it.

No doubt all these re-releases capcom is putting out are lining their pockets. All that money better mean resident evil 2 and 7 are getting high budgets to work with.

I am actually excited for this one, can't wait for the RE4 remake.

Bring back split screen and i'll consider getting it.

Capcom got nothing to do just releasing all these useless old Resident Evil games over and over. Using the brand name of the series to make sales. You can keep it Capcom.

It was and is a great game, love it and probably buy it again when it drops the price.

Pass. Loved the game, played the crap out of it, and it was a blast to play way back when but I have no desire to replay it.

resident evil for me, went down hill since after 4, i kind of want a official dino crisis 4, that plays similar to resident evil 4,5 and 6, but with more dino action.

This is a surprise I never got this last gen I tried the demo and thought it was fun but never got around to purchasing it.

RE5 on the X360 looked already graphically impressive and polished...there was no need for a remaster as the difference will not be any great.

With that said,if you didnt played Re5 and like a good co-op game with monsters to shoot and plenty of weps and upgrades...give it a try

I want a remaster of Gears of War 2,3, and Judgment.

I don't get why this game had to be remastered. It was a decent action game, but by no means a classic. And I firmly believe that only classics should be remastered.

It's a real shame that split screen retains that odd aspect ratio where one third of the screen is black...
