Resident Evil 7 Has No Microtransactions, New Images Released
"No microtransactions will be featured in RE7," Capcom says.
It is commonplace for big-budget, AAA games to feature microtransactions, but Resident Evil 7 will not follow suit, apparently. The official Resident Evil video games Twitter account confirmed the news.
In a tweet, the company also confirmed the retailer preorder bonuses that leaked earlier this week.

The other piece of Resident Evil 7 news today is that Capcom has released some new screenshots that show off the dark and mysterious Baker family and their home.
One image shows the Baker family eating a gross-looking dinner, while the second shows a busted wall with light shining through. Here's how Capcom captioned the tweet: "Would you join The Baker family for dinner? And what about that wall..?" Take a look at the images in the gallery below.

Resident Evil 7 is set to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24, 2017. If you preorder its $80 Deluxe edition, you receive access to two more pieces of additional content. The first includes four short side stories, while the second adds another episode to the main game.
GameSpot recently got the opportunity to play the upcoming survival-horror game and found that it continues to break tradition.
