Resident Evil dev was making Medal of Honor for PS Vita - Report
Concept art from Slant Six Games developer shows unannounced portable entry in first-person shooter series.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City developer Slant Six Games was working on a Medal of Honor game for the PlayStation Vita, according to concept art spotted by Superannuation.
A former Slant Six Games developer includes concept art for the untitled and unannounced Medal of Honor game in his online portfolio. According to his LinkedIn page, he worked at the Vancouver studio from 2006 through 2009.
Neither Slant Six Games nor Electronic Arts were available to comment at press time.
The original Medal of Honor reboot launched in 2010 and was followed by 2012's Medal of Honor: Warfighter. EA put the series on hiatus in January after Medal of Honor: Warfighter failed to meet sales expectations.
"We recognize and appreciate the value of the franchise," EA said at the time. "We're going to give Medal of Honor a rest while we plan its return. We haven't made any decision on how or when it will return."
