Resistance: Burning Skies forecast for May 29

@THA-TODD-BEAST mate firstly I would suggest to you that you should be a bit less rude while mentioning others in your comments. Secondly I feel that you think I was trying to mock the vita or something well thats not the case I have a pre ordered vita coming to me in 5 days and cant wait to get my hands on it, the thing is I love killzone and have never enjoyed resistance thats it and sorry for not having soo much time to research all these things instead of gaming. Thanks for the info but keep your additional cr#p to yourself in the future. peace.

@THA-TODD-BEAST Sorry, but I kind of have to call BS on Sony, a company whose executives have gone on the record as calling the touch screen on the DS "Childish" and "Gimmicky", only to include them and show them off as big selling points in their next handheld.

Sony seems to be pushing this Vita hard! I'm not a big handheld gamer, but this thing looks to have a lot of promise!

@indiannoob If you bothered to do any research, you would know that Killzone is also in development for Vita. Google it.

so is this the last one since they said resistance 3 was going to be insomniacs last resistance (they were still working on this one tho i'm guessing at that time) ?

atleast they were able to get a avg.20GB game onto a small memory stick as big as your finger....that's impressive.....i forgot to mention...the demo is pretty Awesome!!!!...:D

I love the resistance games...but this looks pretty corny. I'm not a fan of the gimmicky touch screen controls to secondary fire and throw grenades, but I guess they'll have the option of not utilizing those(hopefully). And gotta love how every enemy explodes upon dying, like when that chimeran he killed with his axe just exploded upon hitting the floor! I know I'm being judgmental but hey...with so many great games out there now I gotta spend my hard earned cash wisely!

I enjoy Resistance. Looks good, i will buy it :)

@burgeg I said it in a overall sense, lately all the companies have been doing are sequels and FPS, if they gonna made a FPS for Vita cool, a good use of the touch screen. But why Resistance? cant they create something original instead of a sequel, do they create sequels only to create a bunch of DLC and complain about used games?

good job Sony on having the idea of implementing those touchscreens in your game, it'd be a waste to not use them :D

@david1230 - You'll notice that this game wasn't made by Insomniac it's made by Nihilistic. Sony owns the rights to Resistance, not Insomniac.

Great... another game we just played a superior version of on the PS3.

@david1230 You make no sense, all series are bound to end, otherwise they'd get old and boring. Just because Insomniac said they are done with Resistance is no reason to not buy this game. If a game looks good, I'm going to buy it.

I guess my wife will be getting the most use out of the Vita then until this comes out. It just sucks that you can't share between PSNs.

I thought this would be a launch title... Oh well. If its as good as Retribution i'm in!

Story seems reminiscent of Halo ODST.

@david1230 Your being a muppet. Insomniac said THEY are done with the series, not that the series is done. Sony own the IP, they can make R games forever, it has nothing to do with Insomniac any more.

@Soheriam - If this was a console game I might share the same opinion, but be fair. How many good FPS games have we ever seen on a handheld? I think it'll be nice playing a good FPS on a handheld for once.

I'm hoping for good things from this game, with Insomniac abandoning Resistance I'm hoping another company will carry it on. The only thing the games needed were to be a tad darker, then they'd have been perfect. There's so much potential for the franchise it'd be wrong to just stop it! :(

guys why would anyone support resistance when the series has been CONFIRMED to end with resistance 3, People wake up, don't support a game that has been stated by the company that was making it (insomniac), this series is over sadly, i am a die hard ps3 fan but even i know when the original company says it's dead, it's dead. Why support insomniac anyway now they are going to be another company that is going multi and therefore will ruins our ps3 games by giving us crappy ports.

@Sgthombre You can't have both? Now that the screen is literally at your fingertips, I'm not sure I understand the problem.

Hoping for a better effort than 3. Hopefully a different company can get the series back on track!

They add the second stick to make it more like a home console experience, then add touch screens. Make up your freaking minds, Sony.
