Don't Starve
Reviewed By: JakeykinsPlatform: PC
Difficulty: Hard
Time Spent: 20 to 40 Hours
Bottom Line: "Highly addictive" Klei's new Survival game Don't Starve really lives up to it's name for pushing you to find food. I love it!- The game is about a "Gentleman Scientist" named Wilson, who wakes up in a strange new world, deducing that there is no kind of civilization, Wilson takes it upon himself to survive the world. The game has a massive emphasis on exploration and atmosphere, with survival forcing the player to explore which forces the player to survive, it's a bit of a merry-go-round in that respect. … read more
Dark Souls

Difficulty: Hard
Time Spent: 40 to 100 Hours
Bottom Line: "Mixed reactions" Dark Souls is one hell of a tough game, but not impossible. (Offline review) - When was the last time a game really challenged you? When was the last time defeating a boss felt like the end all, be all triumph? When was the last time a game forced you to consider death as a tactic and not necessarily a failure? If you play Dark Souls, the answer to all those questions will be "very recently." … read more.
Another Code: R - A Journey into Lost Memories
Reviewed By: ZanarkandTidusPlatform: Wii
Difficulty: Just Right
Time Spent: 10 to 20 Hours
Bottom Line: "Grows on you" An intriguing mystery story that's beautifully presented. - Another Code:R-A Journey into Lost Memories, which I'll abbreviate as ACR is a sequel to a well-received title named Another Code:Two memories. ACR is much like a murder mystery story presented like a visual novel and it has puzzles and point and click game play too. … read more
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Soul Hackers
Reviewed By: GeekyDadPlatform: 3DS
Difficulty: Just Right
Time Spent: 20 to 40 Hours
Bottom Line: "Immersive" This ain't Persona – deal with it! - Soul Hackers, with its cyberpunk setting, is surprisingly hip today, though the story and dialogue were written almost 15 years ago. Heck, this game was really ahead of its time in that regard. The presentation isn't going to bowl anyone over, but the voice work goes a long way to helping the transition to a modern handheld. … read more
Tomb Raider
Reviewed By: big86bossPlatform: PS3
Difficulty: Just Right
Time Spent: 10 to 20 Hours
Bottom Line: "Masterpiece"Finally a reboot/genre makeover done right! - In this installment of the classic franchise we get to play as Lara Croft in her earlier years as a budding archeologist, being tuned constantly into the hardened adventurer we are more familiar with. She is a much more deep, rounded character in this installment, making it more of an absolute pleasure this time around. … read more
Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition
Reviewed By: naju890_963Platform: PC
Difficulty: Hard
Time Spent: 10 to 20 Hours
Bottom Line: "Best in series" This should be played by anyone who has been burnt out on the military shooter craze. Truly a gem in FPS gaming. - Duke Nukem 3D originally came out on MS-DOS back in 1996. This was back when games were harder to boot up than launching a rocket in space. But thankfully nowadays we have procedures that are much easier. There are numerous versions and ports of this game. The one I'll be reviewing is the Atomic edition. … read more
