The League of Legends 2014 World Championships will take place in Korea next year while the 2014 All-Star event will happen in Europe.

Confirming previous rumors that League of Legends developer Riot Games was in negotiations to host the Season 4 World Championships in South Korea, the company announced today that the event will indeed take place in the region.
In a brief post on their site, VP of eSports Dustin "Redbeard" Beck wrote of the decision, "With a deep esports heritage, this is an ideal location to follow up the largest esports event to date and showcase the top League of Legends players."
Europe will see its first major Riot event in some time when it hosts next year's All-Star tournament.
Interestingly, it appears that the company has changed the naming format for both events from "Season 4 World Championships/All-Star" to "2014 World Championships" and "2014 All-Star game."
