Ripcord Games announced Tuesday more details on its Sega Dreamcast lineup for 2000. The company previously announced that it would offer six titles for the console in 2000 and now reveals exactly which games will be released for the Dreamcast:

Legend of the Blade Masters - A 3D quest RPG that will let players guide up to five characters on a quest through 40 levels. Ripcord plans a June release.

Spec Ops: Omega Squad - The tactical-combat game makes the jump from the PC to the console. Spec Ops lets you take control of America's special forces in a first- and third-person shooter. Ripcord expects the game to ship in June also.

M.O.U.T 2025 - An online team-combat game that Ripcord will release for the PC and the Dreamcast. The game lets you take control of military elite and battle the forces of terrorists. Expect this one in November.

GorkaMorka - An online racing game that features the Ork "Mobz" of the Warhammer 40K universe. Players are required to assemble their own Ork Mob and arm their vehicles for combat. GorkaMorka will let gamers fight each other online. Ripcord plans an October release of GorkaMorka.

Quest of the Blademasters - It's Blademasters, network style. The game will let you join other players around the country and battle the hordes of darkness. There will be other multiplayer modes as well, such as king of the hill, hidden key, or last man standing. QotB will release in November.

Spec Ops Online - It's Spec Ops online through your Dreamcast. The game will offer 25 new levels to play online and will ship in November.

Ripcord spoke highly of Sega's online aspirations and mentioned that four of the company's titles will be available at the launch of Sega's online network this fall.

"The emergence of Dreamcast as a viable next-gen platform - with online capability now - makes it the perfect match for our online multiplayer heritage on PC," said Lou Viveros, president of Ripcord Games. "We expect to garner a substantial share of the nascent online console market this year."

Ripcord Games said it believes that the Dreamcast Network will be a viable platform for online games besides the PC. GameSpot News will be watching to see if other traditional PC developers make similar decisions to bring online titles to the Dreamcast. Ripcord did not announce at this point whether or not these upcoming online Dreamcast titles will let gamers play against PC users, as players will be able to in Quake III for the Dreamcast. We will let you know as soon as Ripcord makes that information available.
