It looks like upcoming Xbox timed-exclusive adventure game Rise of the Tomb Raider will be getting a DLC Pass. Further specifics about the add-on content were not announced. From the description, it sounds like the game's DLC will include single-player content along with some form of multiplayer functionality.

A recent report revealed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will not have a traditional multiplayer mode like its predecessor did. This information was seemingly confirmed when the game's achievements list was announced, as challenges mentioned multiplayer.

Microsoft has said it will share further details about how Rise of the Tomb Raider will let you "compete with friends" in the lead-up to launch, though the company has not yet done so.

Rise of the Tomb Raider launches November 10 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with PC and PlayStation 4 versions landing in 2016. For more, check out GameSpot's recent preview, "Like Father, Like Daughter." The game should last between 15-40 hours and is getting its own 1 TB Xbox One bundle.
